BATAM (Indonesia) - The FIBA 3x3 Women's Series 2026 rolls into Indonesia for the first time this season as Batam welcomes a loaded 16-team field on July 23-24. With valuable standings points up for grabs in the race toward the Women's Series Project Redwings Shanghai Final, several of the circuit's leading contenders will look to strengthen their position. Meanwhile, returning powerhouses and ambitious challengers aim to make a statement in one of the season's most competitive stops.
Dutch Return
Top seed Netherlands (NED) return to FIBA 3x3 Women's Series action after more than a month away, having last competed in WS Bucharest after lifting the title on home soil in WS Amsterdam. While Netherlands have watched several rivals climb the season standings during their absence, Batam presents the perfect opportunity to reignite their campaign and collect valuable ranking points on the road to the Women's Series Final in Shanghai.
Second-seeded Ulaanbaatar Amazons (MGL) once again headline the contenders after another title romp in WS Jinan last weekend. The Mongolian stars have established themselves as one of the tour's benchmark teams through their trademark intensity, depth and chemistry, making them one of the favorites to challenge for another WS stop win.
Third seed China (CHN) arrive with renewed firepower as they welcome back one of their most dynamic playmakers, while France (FRA) enter as the fourth seed after a remarkably consistent stretch that has seen them reach the Semi-Finals or better at nearly every Women's Series stop they have contested this season.
Japan (JPN) round out the top five after a month-long break since their fourth-place finish in WS Ulaanbaatar, while Latvia (LAT), Thailand (THA), and Beijing (CHN) complete a strong group of seeded teams capable of making deep tournament runs.
The battle for the final two Main Draw places begins in the Qualifying Draw.
Qualifying Draw A features Mongolia (MGL), Manila (PHI) and Egypt (EGY), with every team possessing the firepower to challenge for progression.
