BERLIN (Germany) - With less than 10 months to go until the start of the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026, Bearlina has been unveiled as the official mascot of the prestigious competition.
Designed to represent the unique culture of the Berlin lifestyle including the celebrated elements of punk, hip hop and graffiti art, Bearlina also draws on the unmistakable basketball influence of the iconic Molten ball design.
Inspired by the city of Berlin's famous bear crest, Bearlina epitomizes the qualities of being bold, fierce and ready to break down barriers.
Driven by passion, movement and colour, Bearlina is a reflection of women's basketball in this new era of unstoppable strength, vibrancy and expression.
Not just the official mascot of the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026, Bearlina is a movement - a symbol of how basketball is more than a game. It's passion, power and it belongs to everyone.
The mission of Bearlina is to inspire and empower the next generation. Especially young girls who are being encouraged o dream big, play freely and own their space both on and off the court.
Unveiled at a special HipHop Ball event on November 15, Bearlina was introduced alongside Leonie Fiebich, Luisa Geiselsöder and Nyara Sabally, members of the Germany national team, as well as competition ambassador, Svenja Brunckhorst.
