MIAMI (United States) – FIBA’s Regional Office in the Americas, together with the Confederación Sudamericana de Básquetbol (CONSUBASQUET), announced the schedule for the Group Phase of the Liga Sudamericana de Baloncesto 2026 (LSB), which will take place from October 2 through October 25. The first stage of the competition will be hosted by Independiente de Oliva (ARG), CD Jorge Guzmán (ECU), Brasilia (BRA) and Flamengo (BRA) at their respective home venues. Competition format
In the Group Phase, each team will play once against every opponent in their group. The top two teams will advance to the Quarter-Finals. For the Quarter-Finals, two new groups will be formed: Groups E and F. Group E will be played from October 30 to November 1 and will feature the teams advancing from Groups A and B. Group F is scheduled for November 13-15 and will consist of the clubs advancing from Groups C and D. There, the teams will once again play one game against each opponent. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Final Four. The Final Four will take place on December 5-6. The Semi-Finals (1E vs. 2F and 1F vs. 2E) will be played on December 5. The winners will meet for the title the following day, while the losing teams will play for third place.
