MIAMI (United States) – The FIBA Regional Office in the Americas, together with the South American Basketball Confederation (CONSUBASQUET), announced the schedule for the Group Phase of the Liga Sudamericana de Baloncesto (LSB) 2025, which will tip off on October 3. In this opening stage of the competition, Olimpia (PAR), Club Universitario (BOL), Corinthians (BRA), and San José (PAR) will serve as hosts in their respective venues. In this edition of the LSB, during the Group Phase, each team will face every opponent in its group once, with the top two advancing to the Quarter-Finals. In the Quarter-Finals, two new groups will be formed, Groups E and F. The qualified teams from Groups A and B will make up Group E, while those from Groups C and D will compete in Group F. There, teams will once again face each opponent once. The top two from each group will move on to the Final 4. The winners of the Semi-Finals in the Final 4 will play for the championship, while the losing teams will battle for third place.
