DEQING (China) – Justin Pierce of London (USA) delivered a weekend to remember at the 2025 FIBA 3x3 World Tour Deqing Masters, earning Most Valuable Player honors on 12 October after leading his team to a landmark victory.
Pierce was the driving force behind London’s first-ever World Tour title. After a mixed 1-1 start on Day One, the seventh-seeded squad caught fire on Day Two—sweeping their knockout games and taking down heavyweights Chongming, Ub and finally Liman in a thrilling 21-18 Final.
When the pressure peaked, Pierce was unshakable. He calmly sank the title-clinching free throws to secure London’s maiden WT crown and cap off a breakthrough performance.
Throughout the tournament, Pierce was a model of consistency and confidence, averaging 6.8 points and 2.0 two-pointers per game as London finished with a 4-1 record.
His heroics earned him the MVP trophy, presented by FIBA 3x3 Head of Event Ignacio Soriano. It was a fitting reward for a player who turned persistence into glory.
