AMMAN (Jordan) - Jordan confirmed their spot in the Second Round of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 Asian Qualifiers after beating Iraq, 108-59. They also maintained their status as the top team in Group C with a 4-0 record.
The Falcons virtually led the entire game, but only expanded their lead to a 20-plus point margin in the second quarter.
Jordan are one of the only two undefeated teams left in the Asian Qualifiers and have won all of their games by a double-digit margin. They are looking forward to qualify for their third consecutive World Cup.
