BEIRUT (Lebanon) - The FIBA Regional Office-Asia on Wednesday, September 24, has confirmed the schedule of games for the Gulf League of the 2025-26 FIBA West Asia Super League (WASL) season.
The schedule is as follows:
Action will start on October 13 at the Sheikh Saeed Bin Maktoum Sports Hall in Dubai, with Shabab Al Ahli opening their title defense bid against Ittihad Club at 19:00 local time in a rematch of the 2024-25 Gulf League Final.
The Sub-Zone League's Group Phase will run from October 13 to January 20, with the top seeds after the home-and-away, double round-robin games earning outright tickets to the best-of-3 Semi-Finals.
Teams finishing second and third, on the other hand, will play in the crossover Qualification to Semi-Finals, which is also a best-of-3.
The top three teams will advance to the FIBA WASL Final 8, with the team finishing fourth to face the similarly ranked team from the WASL-West Asia League in a Play-Off for a spot in the competition's culminating event.
The complete WASL-West Asia League schedule will be communicated at a later date.
