BEIRUT (Lebanon)- The FIBA Regional Office-Asia has announced the tip-off times for the FIBA West Asia Super League Final 8 2025, scheduled to be held at Zouk Mikael from May 10-18 this year.
The fray for Final 8 comprises three teams each from FIBA WASL-West Asia League 2024-25 and FIBA WASL-Gulf League locking horns with the champions of South Asia and representatives of Central Asia, with the top two teams from the competition making their way to the Basketball Champions League Asia (BCL Asia), FIBA’s flagship competition for club teams in Asia.
Al Riyadi Beirut, aiming for a Final 8 three-peat lead the West Asia League representation and are joined by fellow Lebanese club Sagesse and Iran’s Tabiat.
Champions of the Gulf League, Emirati club Shabab Al Ahli, represent that region along with Saudi Arabia’s Ittihad Club and Al Qadsia SC of Kuwait.
Tamil Nadu, the Indian team that won the South Asia club championship and Central Asia representatives BC Astana complete the fray.
The Final 8 will feature the teams divided into two groups of four teams each with the top two teams qualifying to the knock-out Semi-Finals. The eventual Finalists of Final 8 will book their ticket to BCL Asia.
