    FIBA Europe Cup seeds finalized for Regular Season Draw

    Bilbao are back to defend their crown in the 2025-26 season

    The participating clubs will find out their path in next week's draw.

    MUNICH (Germany) - The seeds are now set ahead of the 2025-26 FIBA Europe Cup Regular Season draw on Wednesday, July 23.

    The top-seeded teams are headlined by 2024-25 champions Surne Bilbao Basket, with all registered clubs - including the 19 clubs opted in from the Basketball Champions League Qualifiers - split into four seeds.

    The Regular Season will consist of 40 clubs drawn into 10 groups of four.

    There is a draw restriction that a maximum of two clubs from the same country can be in the same group.

    The teams competing in the Qualifiers were seeded based on the three-year Club Competition ranking.

    Additional spots in the Regular Season may open up should those clubs qualify for the BCL Regular Season. In this case, the best-ranked losing clubs will be determined from the FIBA Europe Cup Qualifiers in accordance to Section D of the Official Basketball Rules.

    The winners of the seven Qualifiers pairings will advance to the Regular Season with the two-legged ties played on September 24 and October 1.

    The draws for both the Qualifiers and Regular Season will take place on Wednesday, July 23, in Munich, Germany.
