The Team of the Season lineup, as voted by the fans

The fans have spoken, and have voted their top performers for the FIBA Europe Cup Team of the Season.

MUNICH (Germany) - Voting has officially concluded, and the fan-selected FIBA Europe Cup Team of the Season can now be unveiled.

Although the honor is not an official FIBA award, the five players chosen by supporters can take immense pride in both their outstanding performances throughout the campaign and their place in this season’s lineup.

    Melwin Pantzar (Surne Bilbao Basket)

    GUARD

    Birth Date: April 10, 2000 (26 years old) Height: 188 cm / 6'2"

    Stats: 8.9PPG, 4.5RPG, 6.4APG, 1.1SPG

Last season's Finals MVP continued where he left off this season for Surne Bilbao Basket, posting stellar showings as he alternated between point and shooting guard. The Swedish international led the FIBA Europe Cup with 6.4 assists per game, while giving them another scoring option when needed. He averaged 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in the Finals against PAOK BC and finished just shy of 9 points per game for the season.

Zoltan Perl (Falco Vulcano Energia KC Szombathely)

    SHOOTING GUARD

    Birth Date: July 28, 1995 (29 years old) Height: 195 cm / 6'4"

    Stats: 18.1 EFF; 18.7PPG, 3.7APG

This season's leading scorer in the FIBA Europe Cup, Zoltan Perl, was the driving force behind Falco Vulcano Energia KC Szombathely's magical run to the Semi-Finals. Perl averaged 18.7 points per game this season, with his season-high being a 29-point effort in the first leg of their Quarter-Final tie against KK Bosna BH Telecom. Throughout their run to the last four, Perl has remained a constant, scoring in double figures in all 15 games, and has shot a solid 56 percent from the floor.

    Luke Petrasek (Surne Bilbao Basket)

    POWER FORWARD

    Birth Date: August 17, 1995 (30 years old) Height: 208 cm / 6'9"

    Stats: 14.1 EFF; 11.2PPG, 3.9RPG, 1.4 APG

Luke Petrasek has proven to be a versatile power forward this season and played a vital role in helping Surne Bilbao Basket capture its second straight FIBA Europe Cup title. The 30 year old averaged 11.2 points per game, shooting 58 percent from the field on six shot attempts. He also spread his wings on the perimeter, going 45 percent from beyond the arc.

    Cleveland Melvin (PAOK BC)

    POWER FORWARD

    Birth Date: June 25, 1991 (34 years old) Height: 204 cm / 6'8"

    Stats: 14.9 EFF; 14.6PPG, 4.2APG

Like a fine wine, Cleveland Melvin keeps getting better. For PAOK BC, Melvin averaged 14.6 points per game and posted a season-high 27 points, including going 5-for-8 from beyond the arc against BC Prievidza in December. By the end, the American and his side fell just short in the Finals, but the 34 year old had a solid season regardless.

Arnando Toro (Falco Vulcano Energia KC Szombathely)

    POWER FORWARD/CENTER

    Birth Date: October 28, 1997 (28 years old) Height: 202 cm / 6'7"

    Stats: 16.4 EFF; 9.8PPG, 10.4RPG

While undersized at the center spot, Puerto Rican Arnando Toro more than matched up to the other big men in the FIBA Europe Cup, by averaging 10.4 rebounds per game. Since his arrival at Falco Vulcano Energia KC Szombathely in January, Toro has bagged three double-doubles and guided his side to its first ever Semi-Final, where they lost out to eventual winners, Bilbao.
