MUNICH (Germany) - The Second Round lineup of the FIBA EuroBasket 2029 Pre-Qualifiers has now been confirmed, following the conclusion of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Qualifiers.
Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Slovakia advanced as group winners in the First Round, while Norway secured their spot as the best-ranked runner-up.
Meanwhile, the eight teams that failed to qualify in the European Qualifiers now join the field to form a 12-team lineup.
The list of teams is as follows: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Great Britain, North Macedonia, Norway, Romania, Slovakia and Switzerland.
In the Second Round, the teams will be split into four groups of three teams, with the best ranked team in each group advancing directly to the FIBA EuroBasket 2029 Qualifiers.
The games are to played across three windows that take place in August 2026, November 2026 and February 2027.
The participating teams will found out their opponents with the Second Round draw is held on Thursday, July 16 in Munich, Germany.
