    WUHAN (FIBA Asia Championship) - The FIBA Asia Championship Semi-Final between China and Korea, played on Saturday night, peaked at 35 million viewers and generated a total reach of 81 million people to make it the highest rated sports programme on CCTV-5 in 2011.

    This beats the previous 2011 record set by Wuhan born, Li Na’s French Open Final which peaked at 34.54 million.

    Today, China face Jordan in the Final which gets underway at 20:00 local time (14:00 CET/12:00 GMT).

    The hosts will look to be crowned FIBA Asia champions for the first time since 2005 and clinch the automatic berth for next year's Olympic Games that is up for grabs.

    Jordan have never won a FIBA Asia crown and are looking to make their first-ever trip to the Olympics.
