MIES (Switzerland) - This incredible FIBA 3x3 World Tour 2025 season will be remembered forever, especially the deeds of the biggest superstars on the half-court. In an impossible task, we've assembled the prestigious team of the season. No we're not using ChatGP as a cheat code because we have the player value per game metric to guide us along with the eye test.
Player value is measured by the following: Shooting-value + Blocked Shots + Key Assists + Buzzer Beaters – Turnovers + (Rebounds/2).
And to qualify for the criteria, a minimum of 25 games had to be played. Here is the FIBA 3x3 World Tour 2025 team of the season.
Strahinja Stojacic, Ub (8.8 P-VAL per game)
You guessed it. The GOAT came out on top to the shock of no one after completing the GOAT individual season. It was once again Doctor Strange's multiverse as he finished with a slew of MVPs, including the biggest of them all at the Manama Final.
Stojacic somehow keeps elevating his game having now enjoyed an incredible four-season run where Ub (SRB) flat out dominated. No one had more impact on the WT than Stojacic, who you should just make goat noises if you're around his greatness.
Worthy de Jong, Amsterdam Rabobank (8.5 P-VAL per game)
You know someone is great when they don't quite reach the heights expected but it's still basically better than anyone else. That's 2025 in a nutshell for de Jong, who was still absolutely hype worthy.
It always loomed as an impossible task to back up from his momentous 2024, where he stood at the top of the mountain at the end of the WT in a year he became an Olympic legend. But de Jong still had magical moments in 2025 marked by ensuring he won an MVP in Bucharest to end the regular season on a high.
He was still an elite bucket getter and unleashed so many outrageous plays that is all part of the package watching this Dutch Master do his thing on the half-court.
Dennis Donkor, Riffa (8 P-VAL)
No one was more inspirational than DD who lifted Riffa (BRN) from the depths of despair to direct entry into the Manama Final after a late season surge. Just when it appeared their season was on the brink of imploding, Donkor stepped up and ignited his team to make sure they turned it all around.
It was the second straight season that Donkor has finished in the team of the tournament to underline that he is consistently the next best player on the planet behind mega stars Stojacic and de Jong.
Along with his knockdown shooting and athletic chops, Donkor remains the ultimate menace on D to be the gold standard in two-way play. He's also absolutely one of the best leaders on the planet.
James Parrott, Miami (7.4 P-VAL)
There isn't a smoother scorer than JP, who often sparked the insane firepower of Miami (USA). No one can drop buckets at will like this American scoring machine who was the lead guy on a team with plenty of stars.
Even though he can swish baskets and produce posters, Parrott is far more than just a scorer as he constantly shows through his all-round game that has no weakness. With Parrott steering the wheel, Miami was consistently the second best team through 2025.
They will be dreaming of the crown in 2026, a goal that is highly likely because Parrott isn't done improving his insane skill-set.
