    The stage is set for another compelling EuroCup Women season and here's the main takeaways ahead of the big tip-off.

    MUNICH (Germany) - Another 2024-25 EuroCup Women campaign is ready to swing into action and with the recent Qualifiers in the books and the Regular Season field now complete, there's an incredible amount to look forward to. Here's everything you need to know ahead of the main phase getting underway.

    What is EuroCup Women?

    Europe's second-tier women's competition, there is an eclectic mix of clubs from right across the continent, with some of the leading players globally taking part and countless rising stars.

    The pan-European competition is famed for its entertainment and unpredictable nature with fans able to enjoy the riveting roller-coaster ride.

    Who are the reigning champions?

    Last season, it was London Lions who made history by being crowned champions for the first time. They won a pulsating tie against Besiktas - lifting the trophy on a special and memorable night in the British capital.

    LDLC ASVEL Feminin, Tango Bourges Basket and Valencia Basket are also among the recent winners of the title with Dynamo Moscow the only side to win the competition on more than two occasions.

    Who is playing?

    There are 48 clubs participating in the Regular Season - five made it through the EuroCup Women Qualifiers, while three dropped down from EuroLeague Women.

    When do the games take place?

    Games are typically played on Wednesday and Thursday throughout the season with the initial group games tipping off on the week commencing October 7, and will run until week commencing November 25.

    A total of 28 Regular Season teams will then progress to the Play-Offs, alongside four teams who will join from EuroLeague Women.
