    MUNICH (Germany) - The second day of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Qualifiers is behind us. With eight games in the books, it's time to rewind and check out the best individual performances of the day.

    Hungary defeated Finland 89-82 in Szombathely, and that's where King Zoltan Perl reigns.

    The hometown hero torched Finland with 25 points in 26 minutes as a starter, hitting 8-of-15 shots, while Hungary went +33 with him on the floor.

    Estonia pulled off a memorable overtime win over Slovenia on the road, escaping the jaws of defeat twice as time expired. Henri Drell is the reason they made it out alive.

    The 25-year-old forward had 29 points, made 10-of-18 shots from the field, while grabbing 6 rebounds and handing out 6 assists. He also had 2 steals and 2 blocks, picking up an efficiency rating of 26.

    Mario Hezonja led Croatia to a 40-point win over Cyprus with an all-round effort of 25 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists in just 23 minutes of action.

    His efficiency rating of 36 was the highest among all players across the first two days of action.

    Croatia set European Qualifiers record with 32 assists

    Finally, the last spot among the top performers belongs to Oscar Da Silva. The reigning World Cup and EuroBasket champions cruised to an 89-69 win over Israel, with Da Silva dominating as a starter.

    He had 19 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and a block, combining for 24 rating. Germany won his 21 minutes by 26 points.
