They have also considered progress against the third volume of the Power Rankings, which was published at the end of the First Round.

    1. Fenerbahce Opet (-)

    Season Record: 8-1

Wake up call alert! It wasn't just a first loss that made people sit up, but the extent of the defeat at Landes. Maybe the destination of this year's silverware is not guaranteed after all. It will give hope to others with their eyes on the prize. On the flip side, will it be a shock loss that re-energizes the focus of Fenerbahce as 'champions in waiting'? The trinity of Emma Meesseman, Julie Allemand and Gabby Williams in particular will surely make it happen.

    2. Galatasaray Cagdas Faktoring (-)

Season Record: 8-1 Since last summer when Galatasaray assembled a top class roster, the hopes were high that they could emerge as a title contender on their return. Well, tick that box with a bright coloured pen. They have the joint best season record, a frontcourt duo of Dorka Juhasz and Awak Kuier who seem to kill it in almost every game, and there is a sense that the clutch of Marine Johannes is primed and waiting for season crunch time. What's not to love now?

    3. Valencia Basket Club (-)

    Season Record: 6-3

Could the astute signing of Yvonne Anderson be one of the best and smartest of the whole season? The veteran playmaker brings everything Valencia needs to at least repeat their exploits last season - or maybe even deliver more. Her experience will be precious and if she builds a connection with the likes of Leonie Fiebich, Valencia will be tough to slow down. It's also the defensive boost this addition gives them that could be a real difference-maker.

    4. Basket Landes (+3)

    Season Record: 6-3

Basket Landes enjoyed a memorable night by beating Fenerbahce in a shock result

Are we watching another EuroLeague Women Cinderella story being written in front of our eyes? Could the French underdogs enjoy a fairytale run to the Final Six? Anyone thinking this is an overreach, they did just beat the flawless Fenerbahce by 19 points. Kudos Julie Barennes and her ballers for some amazing work - especially Leila Lacan and Murjanatu Musa. Landes are so tough on that home floor, nobody will want to go there for the anticipated Play-Ins.

    5. Spar Girona (-1)

    Season Record: 7-2

Just when things were looking incredibly bright, they've had the setback of losing December MVP Mariam Coulibaly to injury. The center was the leading scorer in the competition and it's a huge void to have to fill. Her absence was exposed brutally by Galatasaray in the last game. So, Chloe Bibby and Lola Pendande will have to step up and there will be a greater emphasis on Klara Holm and Juste Jocyte to hit a higher gear in the backcourt.

    6. Beretta Famila Schio (-1)

    Season Record: 5-4

The recent loss to Bourges on the road could turn out to be a killer blow as Schio will have truly targeted this as one they had to win to be more or less sure of progressing. However, their Play-In place is still very much in their hands and especially with two of three games at home. This next one against Girona feels enormous. The pressure will be on but they have the experience to deal with it. Jessica Shepard is likely to be key in taking them to glory.

    7. Tango Bourges Basket (+3)

    Season Record: 6-3

Tango Bourges Basket have put themselves into a great position to make the Play-Ins and maybe even Final Six

Who else is loving the 'Tango Teamwork'? You could argue that Bourges are the surprise package of the season with six wins in nine games. Few predicted this and Olivier Lafargue and his players have done a superb job. With a glut of ballers all recording double-digits in scoring in their last game against Schio, it epitomized their collective work and value. Now, opportunity knocks loudly. Do they have what it takes to sustain their impressive momentum?

    8. Casademont Zaragoza (-)

    Season Record: 5-4

It's always felt since the first jump ball that the chances of Zaragoza making the Final Six on their homecourt was on a knife-edge and all these months later, nothing has changed. They are going to have to take down arch rivals Valencia to probably advance and that sets up another potential classic. Helena Pueyo might have just re-ignited her form at the right time. Mariona Ortiz is still captain fantastic and that crowd is ready to roar them over the line.

    9. ZVVZ USK Praha (-)

Season Record: 5-4 The belated arrival of 2025 Final Six MVP Brionna Jones has given the reigning champions a huge boost. But is it too little, too late? Even with their star center now in situ and Bridget Carleton re-writing history with her amazing three-point shooting, the holders might need to win out. That means probably needing a victory in Istanbul against Galatasaray. It's doable of course, so strap yourselves in for some blockbuster action in these last weeks!

    10. Umana Reyer Venezia (-4)

    Season Record: 5-4

Are Umana Reyer Venezia going to defy the rankings and get the job done and make the Play-Ins?

This is harsh for sure. But with both Valencia and Fenerbahce to play in the last three games, there's a sense that the fizz has went out of a promising season at the wrong time. Reyer could prove us wrong and have the talent to do it, but do they have the firepower to get the job done? To book their place, it's going to probably take all their leading ballers to click again and Reyer have to make more downtown scores. It's going to be tense!

    11. Flammes Carolo Basket (-)

    Season Record: 2-7

The wheels have come flying off for Flammes, with their early season dreams of making the Final Six up in smoke. With no wins since last October, it's been quite the drought after such a bright start. Even individual ballers who normally shine have suffered a loss of form and being on the wrong end of those astonishing 17 triples from Praha last week added salt into the collective wounds.

    12. DVTK HUNTHERM (-)

    Season Record: 1-8

It's certainly gone according to the script during the Second Round for the Hungarian side, but unfortunately that has meant the anticipated zero wins in this stage as their season of struggle continues. Their big home defeat to Zaragoza formally put an end to any feint hopes of advancing.
