ORADEA (Romania) - Latvia's Benjamin Berrouet claimed this year's FIBA U16 EuroBasket MVP award, after leading his side to a first-ever title.
And Berrouet himself was unstoppable, leading the tournament in points and rebounds, and bagging a double-double in all seven games. He averaged 23.5 points, 15.0 rebounds and 3.5 blocks per game, capped off with a 22-point, 13-rebound effort in a 75-69 win in the Final against Spain.
He is joined in the All-Star Five by his teammate Markuss Jahovics, Messie Guethan Iwani of France, Lithuania's Danielius Jasikevicius and Rhys Robinson of Spain.
