MIES (Switzerland) - FIBA is excited to announce the addition of Deqing and Bucharest as new stops to the 3x3 World Tour 2025. Deqing will make it's World Tour debut in the calendar, but it's not new to 3x3 basketball or the pro circuit, having hosted the 3x3 Deqing Challenger last year.
Bucharest is also making its first appearance in the World Tour Calendar, but is a city well-know for 3x3 fans, having hosted several events such as as the 3x3 Europe Cup in 2014, 2016 and 2018, the Women's Series Final 2021, Youth World Cup 2022 and the Bucharest Challenger for several years. Following a record-breaking year of digital engagement in 2024, 3x3 basketball’s growing global fanbase can expect another exciting World Tour season featuring outstanding entertainment on and off the court in the following locations: Utsunomiya Opener, Japan: April 26-27 Chengdu, China: May 3-4 Amsterdam, Netherlands: May 17-18 Marseille, France: May 24-25 Vienna, Austria: June 13-15 Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia: June 20-21 Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China: July 19-20 Edmonton, Canada: August 2-3 Lausanne, Switzerland: August 15-16 Debrecen, Hungary: August 29-31 Shanghai, China: September 27-28 Shenzhen , China: October 4-5 Deqing, China: October 11-12 Macau, Macau: October 18-19 Abu Dhabi, UAE: October 25-26 Bucharest, Romania: November 8-9 Manama Final, Bahrain: November 21-22 Amsterdam (NED) won the 13th FIBA 3x3 World Tour last December in Hong Kong after defeating Paris (FRA) 22 – 20.
