    LION CITY (Singapore) – The path to the FIBA 3x3 World Tour continues in Southeast Asia as a loaded field assembles for the FIBA 3x3 Lion City Challenger 2026 on June 20-21.

    The seventh Challenger event of the season promises high-level action at *SCAPE, located in the heart of Singapore's famous Orchard Road, with teams battling for coveted FIBA 3x3 World Tour tickets. The top three finishers in Lion City will earn qualification spots for FIBA 3x3 World Tour Lausanne.

    Several of the Pro Circuit's top contenders will take center stage in what shapes as one of the deepest Challenger fields of the season.

    Belgian powerhouse Antwerp (BEL) headline the draw and arrive with plenty of firepower led by sharpshooting superstar Dennis Donkor. The experienced squad will be eager to add another FIBA 3x3 Challenger title to their growing resume.

    Toronto (CAN) also loom as major contenders with the electrifying Thibaut Vervoort expected to spearhead their campaign. Vervoort's ability to score in bunches and create highlight plays makes Toronto must-watch viewing.

    London (GBR) enter Singapore boasting one of the most athletic rosters in the competition. Veteran leader Ashley Hamilton brings experience, versatility and proven success on the international stage as London chase valuable FIBA 3x3 World Tour qualification points.

    Lithuanian outfit Marijampole MANTINGA (LTU) will once again be among the favorites. Their trademark physicality and winning pedigree make them a dangerous opponent for any team in the field.

    Spain's Valencia Basket (ESP) are another squad capable of making a deep run, especially with dominant big man Iván Aurrecoechea patrolling the paint. Princeton (USA) also return to FIBA 3x3 Challenger action led by high-flying standout Justin Pierce, while Bordeaux (FRA) will look to Alex Vialaret to guide them through a tough bracket.

    Asian hopes will largely rest with Taipei WanBao (TPE), who have consistently impressed on the international stage. Dynamic scorer Leo Branquinho is expected to be central to their ambitions as they seek a breakthrough result on Singaporean soil.
