    EDMONTON (Canada) - Canada won the Final Stop of the FIBA 3x3 Women's Series in Edmonton, Canada on September 21-22 

     Host Canada defended their home soil and defeated the United States in the final of the Women's Series Final Stop in Edmonton 19-17. Michelle Plouffe led the Canadians with 10 points in the final, her sister Katherine contributed with 5. Christyn Williams was USA's top scorer in the final with 10 points. 

    With their victory in Edmonton, the Canadians have won the last 4 events in which they have participated: Prague, Bucharest, Montreal and Edmonton. 

     Christyn Williams led the U.S to their highest finish in the FIBA 3x3 Women's Series having reached semi-finals in Turin and Montreal earlier in the competition. She was also the top scorer of the event with 34 points in just 4 games.
