Neftchi SOCAR headline a deep international field chasing Women's Series glory in Caceres

CACERES (Spain) - The FIBA 3x3 Women's Series 2026 heads to Spain once again, with another deep field set to battle in Caceres on July 9-10.

Leading the way are top seeds Neftchi SOCAR (AZE), who continue to establish themselves among the FIBA 3x3 Women's Series elite and will be aiming to add a third WS stop win to their impressive 2026 campaign.

Second seeds Rapid Bucharest (ROU) arrive as another proven contender capable of making a deep run, while home side Madrid (ESP) enter as the No. 3 seed hoping to capitalize on familiar surroundings and notch their second WS stop win of the year.

Another team to watch are fourth-seeded Spain (ESP), who won at WS Bucharest and will have home support behind them throughout the tournament. Meanwhile, Latvia (LAT) and Italy (ITA) complete the top six and add even more quality to an already competitive field.

Of course, the Main Draw promises plenty of intriguing matchups.

Pool A features top seeds Neftchi SOCAR alongside Madrid and Hungary (HUN), with every team capable of making a statement from the opening tip.

Pool B sees Rapid Bucharest take on Lithuania (LTU) and another Spanish side Fuengirola (ESP) in what shapes up as another tightly contested group.

Pool C features Spain and Chile (CHI), with the final spot going to the winner of Qualifying Draw A, where Portugal (POR), Egypt (EGY) and Belgium (BEL) will battle for a place in the Main Draw.

Meanwhile, Latvia headline Pool D alongside Italy, with the winner of Qualifying Draw B -- featuring Slovenia (SLO), Croatia (CRO) and Benin (BEN) -- completing the group.

With experienced FIBA 3x3 Women's Series winners, ambitious national teams and rising challengers all chasing valuable Race to the WS Final points, all the ingredients are in place for another memorable stop on the FIBA 3x3 Women's Series 2026.
