    MUNICH (Germany) - Kennedy Burke has been named MVP for February-March after providing the main thrust behind CIMSA CBK Mersin reaching the EuroCup Women Finals for the first time.

    The energetic Burke did the business at both ends of the floor across both months for the ambitious Turkish club, producing a string of standout displays.

    During the period, which saw her stepping out in four outings across the Quarter-Finals and Semi-Finals, she averaged a performance efficiency valuation of 19.8.

    Her impressive valuation came from pouring in an average of 16.5 points per game, while also excelling in other areas and racking up 6.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.0 steals.

    In the first leg of the Quarter-Finals, Burke produced 11 points, 7 assists, 6 assists and 3 steals in a typically influential display as her team edged out Panathinaikos A.C by 91-87 on the road.

    Finishing the job and sending her side into the last four of the competition, the 29 year-old lit it up with 20 points, 7 boards, 4 assists and 2 steals during a commanding 71-57 success.

    Attention then turned to the Semi-Finals and a tough mission at BLMA, where Mersin were able to squeeze out a hard-fought 70-68 road win. Once again Burke was a leading contributor with 16 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocks.

    Then confirming their maiden EuroCup Women Finals spot, she caught fire in a momentous 86-60 second leg win by adding an eye-catching 19 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals.

    It's been a pivotal time for Burke, who has also been announced as a new naturalized player for Türkiye. She will make her debut at the upcoming FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 Qualifying Tournament in Istanbul.
