Fan Awards: EuroCup Women Team of the Season revealed

    The 2025-26 season lineup as voted by the fans

    The fans have cast their votes and five ballers have secured their place.

    MUNICH (Germany) - The voting has ended and that means the eagerly anticipated Fan Awards EuroCup Women Team of the Season can now be confirmed.

    While not an official FIBA award, the five players who have all been given the thumbs up by the fans can take great pride in their respective season performances and their inclusion in the lineup.

    Matea Tadic (MB Zaglebie Sosnowiec)

    Guard

    Birth Date: October 25, 1999 (26 years old) Height: 1.76m (5ft 9in)

    Stats: 14.6 EFF; 9.0 APG; 8.3 PPG; 4.0 RPG; 2.5 SPG

    With a jaw-dropping 9.0 assists per game, nobody handed out more dimes than Tadic. The assists leader of the competition, she also did the business defensively too, with 2.5 steals per outing. The guard helped Polish side MB Zaglebie Sosnowiec to the Round of 16, where they came up short against Panathinaikos A.C.

    Blanca Millan (BAXI Ferrol)

    Guard

    Birth Date: May 18, 1998 (27 years old) Height: 1.85m (6ft 0in)

    Stats: 17.5 EFF; 12.3 PPG; 6.3 RPG; 3.6 APG

    A huge fan favorite amongst the Ferrol supporters and not least for her leading role in taking them to a historic first Final in 2025, the versatile Millan has impressed again. Her all-action style was the focal point for the Spanish side on their ride to the Round of 16 where they eventual came unstuck against domestic rivals, Perfumerias Avenida.

    Frieda Buhner (Movistar Estudiantes)

    Forward

    Birth Date: May 28, 2004 (21 years old) Height: 1.86m (6ft 1in)

    Stats: 18.8 EFF; 19.0 PPG; 7.2 RPG

    An outstanding young player not only of this competition, but on the international stage with Germany, Buhner is making positive waves with her super performances. The fourth highest scorer in the competition and with so much composure for her age, she's been brilliant and a driving force behind Estudiantes making the Quarter-Finals.

    Mariella Fasoula (Besiktas BOA)

    Center

    Birth Date: September 2, 1997 (29 years old) Height: 1.92m (6ft 3in)

    Stats: 22.0 EFF; 18.9 PPG; 9.6 RPG; 4.0 APG

    One of the most recognizable faces and stars of the competition and beyond, the Greek national team standout had a highly productive season for Besiktas. Helping them reach the Play-Off Round 1, she excelled with a near season double-double underpinning her value - only missing out on the feat by an average of less than 1 rebound.

    Khadijiah Cave (Perfumerias Avenida)

    Center

    Birth Date: February 19, 1995 (31 years old) Height: 1.84m (6ft 0in)

    Stats: 20.3 EFF; 14.8 PPG; 64.5% FG; 8.0 RPG

    Propelling Perfumerias Avenida to the Quarter-Finals, Cave was a colossus for her team and hugely appreciated by the Pabellon Wurzburg regulars. Her experience and quality was clear to see, with the frontcourt star shooting the lights out and adding that scoring touch to her appetite for hard work, rebounds and defensive assignments.
