JOHOR BAHRU (Malaysia) - The FIBA Regional Office-Asia on Thursday, May 21, has confirmed the pairings and schedule of the Basketball Champions League Asia-East (BCL Asia-East) Final 6 2026 Semi-Finals.
The schedule is as follows:
The Final 6's last stretch will tip off on Saturday, May 23, at 17:00 local time, with defending champions Chinggis Broncos taking on the no. 1 seed of Group B in South China Athletic to start the Semi-Finals.
It's going to be a tiebreaker of sorts between the two teams after splitting their two previous meetings in the Group Phase, with South China winning their most recent encounter, 86-84, last May 5.
South China are entering the Semi-Finals as Group B's best after completing a two-game sweep of the pool in the Final 6 Group Phase, capped by a 110-103 win over Taoyuan Pauian Thursday thanks to Isaiah Briscoe.
The Pilots settled for second in the group and will therefore face Dewa United Banten, the best team in Group A, in the knockout crossover Semi-Finals, with their game scheduled for a 20:00 local time tipoff.
They will be squaring off against a team that also went 2-0 in their cluster, punctuated by a 94-87 come-from-behind victory against the Johor Southern Tigers behind a clutch showing by lead guard DJ Cooper.
Winners will advance to the one-game Final on Sunday, May 24, and will also secure spots to the BCL Asia 2026 as the top two teams from this pan-regional contest will qualify for the continent's highest club competition.
The losing sides, on the other hand, will play in the Third-Place Game, to be played just before the title match.
