BEIRUT (Lebanon)- The FIBA Regional Office-Asia on Monday, January 12 announced that the 2025-26 FIBA WASL West Asia League game between BC Astana of Kazakhstan and Shahrdari Gorgan of Iran scheduled to be hosted by the former at Astana on Thursday, Jan 15, 2026 has been postponed due to the ongoing unrest and security situation in Iran, which has led to cancellation of flights and subsequent suspension of travel to and from that country.
