VIENNA (Austria) – Pool D of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Vienna 2026 delivered plenty of drama as the race for the knockout rounds intensified in one of the most iconic stops on the global 3x3 basketball calendar.
Basketbs Bonn and Amsterdam Rabobank were among the teams to emerge undefeated through pool play, while several contenders survived tough tests to book their places in Sunday's Quarter-Finals.
Here's what happened on Day 1.
Pool A
Basketbs Bonn inished atop Pool A after victories over Ub and Fuengirola.
In their opening game, the Germans defeated last year's winenrs Ub 17-15 behind Fabian Giessmann, who finished with 10 points.

Pool B
Liman ooked impressive throughout Day 1, securing wins over local favorites Vienna (16-15) and new kids on the block Crvena Zvezda (21-13) Nemanja Zigon shocked everyone with one of the posters of the season.
Vienna booked their spot in the next rounds in the last game of the day, beating Crvena Zvezda 21-18 in a nail-biter.
Pool C
Pool C featured some of the day's most entertaining action.
With Skyliners (GER) dominating both their games with wins over Praia Clube (14-9) and Toronto (13-10), the Canadian squad would stamp their tickets to the quarter-finals with a game-winner in Overtime courtesy of Thibaut Vervoort aka Must-See TV.
Pool D
Amsterdam Rabobank completed a perfect day to claim first place in Pool D.
Their campaign included victories over Marijampole Mantinga and Raudondvaris Hoptrans, highlighted by Alberts' gamme winner in OT.
In an all-Lithuanian clash, Raudondvaris Hoptrans booked their ticket to the knock-out rounds beating Marijampole Mantinga 21-19.
