VIENNA (Austria) – Worthy de Jong of Amsterdam Rabobank (NED) added another accolade to his illustrious 3x3 basketball career after being named Most Valuable Player of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Vienna 2026 on June 14.
De Jong was the driving force behind Amsterdam Rabobank's triumphant campaign in the Austrian capital. The Dutch powerhouse overcame a loaded field and delivered when it mattered most, capturing their first FIBA 3x3 World Tour title of the 2026 season.
As he has done so many times throughout his career, de Jong impacted every aspect of the game. Whether it was scoring, rebounding, defending or creating highlights, the Dutch superstar consistently found ways to elevate his team throughout the tournament.
His all-around brilliance was reflected across the statistical leaderboard. De Jong led the event with four double-fives, two triple-fives and 28 rebounds, while also ranking second in player value (40.8), highlights (18), drives (9) and blocks (3). He finished third overall in scoring with 33 points and knocked down six two-pointers during Amsterdam Rabobank's championship run.
When the stakes rose on Day 2, de Jong once again proved why he remains one of the most influential players in world 3x3 basketball. His leadership, versatility and trademark flair helped Amsterdam Rabobank navigate the knockout rounds and ultimately lift the trophy in Vienna.
