    MIES (Switzerland) - Who do you think will be the 12 players that will play for Japan at the World Cup?

    MIES (Switzerland) - There's excitement in the air for Akatsuki Japan for the upcoming FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 which will be played in the Philippines, Japan, and Indonesia from 25 August to 10 September as they boast some starpower and bright, young talents in their preliminary roster.

    Headlining the list of potential players is Yuta Watanabe who is coming off a successful NBA season and recently signed with the Phoenix Suns in the offseason. Of course, there is also the exciting Yudai Baba and reigning B.League MVP Yuki Kawamura in the mix as well.

    Playing at home for the Group Phase in Okinawa, Japan are in the "Group of Death"along with Finland, Australia, and Germany.
