    All FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 games live on GRUP MEDIAPRO's Gol Mundial platform in Spain under the Courtside 1891 brand

    MIES (Switzerland) - FIBA and GRUP MEDIAPRO have announced a rights agreement for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023, with all 92 games to be made available on Gol Mundial platform under Courtside.

    MIES (Switzerland) - FIBA and GRUP MEDIAPRO, leading company in the European audiovisual industry, have announced a rights agreement for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023, with all 92 games to be made available on Gol Mundial digital platform under FIBA’s Courtside 1891 brand.

    Users of the platform will now have access to the best basketball players and games when the World Cup tips off in the Philippines, Japan and Indonesia between August 25 and September 10.

    Bringing together the best 32 national basketball teams on the planet, the FIBA Basketball World Cup on Gol Mundial will feature all 92 games available on a live and on-demand basis, with featured games having dedicated studio coverage and analysis.  Interest in the event in Spain will be high, with the national team looking to defend their title after winning the previous World Cup in China in 2019.

    Seventy-six games from the event will be shown exclusively on Courtside 1891, whether as part of the Gol Mundial service or through the existing Courtside 1891 digital products. This will include the games of Serbia and the United States in the Group phase, along with three of the Quarter-Finals and one of the Semi-Finals.

    On the Gol Mundial service, which broadcast the FIFA World Cup 2022 event in Spain, fans will be able to access all the World Cup games, even those played simultaneously, as well as highlights and a daily news show. Gol Mundial is accessible across all devices (Smart TV, PC, iOS and Android) and is available via golmundial.com.  Courtside 1891 remains available through its usual means in Spain on iOS, Android and via courtside1891.basketball and will feature its own extensive coverage of the World Cup in addition to streams, scores and schedules from the broader world of basketball.
