Avenida continue to re-load with Quevedo

SALAMANCA (EuroLeague Women) - Perfumerias Avenida are continuing to get their work done early in preparation for the 2016-17 season after they signed a second Spanish rising star in the form of exciting forward Laura Quevedo.

Still a teenager until last month, the Madrid-native debuted for her country at senior level during the opening FIBA EuroBasket Women 2017 Qualifiers Window and has previously impressed at youth level where she has collected a healthy haul of medals.

She was particularly effective in Chekhov and Vidnoje at the FIBA U19 Women's World Championship last year and was part of the team that rode to the top of the podium in Lanzarote at the FIBA U20 European Championship Women.

Quevedo has also impressed in Liga Femenina with Star Center Uni-Ferrol and previously wore the vest of Rivas Ecopolis where she played briefly in EuroLeague Women during 2013-14.

Her addition to the roster of the current Liga Femenina champions comes hot on the heels of Avenida also inking a deal with another red-hot prospect in the highly rated Angela Salvadores.
