The Winner: Antwerp (BEL)
Antwerp once again demonstrated why they remain among the most dangerous teams on the Pro Circuit. The Belgian powerhouse went unbeaten throughout the event, topping Pool A before navigating a difficult knockout path.
After defeating Singapore (SGP) and narrowly escaping a determined Seef (BRN) side on Day 1, Antwerp continued their momentum in the knockout round. They edged Princeton 21-16 in the Quarter-Finals before surviving a spirited Valencia Basket comeback in a thrilling 22-19 Semi-Final.
In the Final, Antwerp delivered another composed performance behind Donkor and the ever-reliable Jonas Foerts to lift the trophy.
Donkor was the standout performer of the tournament, finishing first in scoring with 39 points and leading all players with 15 two-pointers made. He also recorded the second-highest player value rating at 45.7.
The Runner-up: Shibuya (JPN)
Shibuya produced one of the stories of the tournament after advancing all the way from the Qualifying Draw to the Final.
Led by the red-hot shooting of Ryo Ozawa, Shibuya won six consecutive games to reach the Final. First, Shibuya made quick work of Lion City (SGP) and Zavkhan (MGL) in the Qualifying Draw. They then stunned London (GBR) and Princeton (USA) during pool play before defeating Seef and Taipei WanBao (TPE) on Day 2.
Ozawa was sensational throughout the event, finishing with 31 points, including a remarkable six two-pointers in Shibuya's decisive victory over Princeton.
The Final
The titular game began at a frantic pace, with Antwerp holding a slim 6-5 advantage early before the teams remained deadlocked at 10-all midway through the contest.
The turning point came when Donkor caught fire from beyond the arc. His clutch two-pointer stretched Antwerp's lead to 15-10 and shifted momentum firmly in the Belgian side's favor.
With Foerts adding crucial free throws and another trademark long-range strike, Antwerp gradually pulled away before sealing the victory, 21-14.
