A preview of FIBA 3x3 World Tour Edmonton 2025.

EDMONTON (Canada) - After a weekend off, the FIBA 3x3 World Tour 2025 explodes back to life as it journeys to North America for the annual Edmonton Masters on August 2-3.

Here is all the important information for the eighth stop on this season's WT. Where can I watch the WT Edmonton? The action runs from August 2-3 and you can follow it live on the FIBA 3x3 YouTube channel. Who is competing in Edmonton?

Seven of the top 12 teams in the rankings and a total of 12 squads: Ub, Amsterdam Rabobank, Miami, Raudondvaris Hoptrans, Chongming, Ulaanbaatar MMC Energy, Partizan, Carolina, Phoenix, Washington DC, Caracas, Sint Maarten

    What are the pools?

    Who are the favorites?

Never write off a champion. After a slow start to 2025, No.1 seed Ub (SRB) have been irresistible and they completed their third straight title with an unforgettable triumph in Hong Kong.

It was one of their greatest ever victories and they proved once again they have a heart of a champion having played at the business end without legendary Dejan Majstorovic after he succumbed to injury in the quarters.

While Ub's trophy cabinet is bulging, Amsterdam RABOBANK (NED) are titleless and their season hit a low after an early exit in Hong Kong. The Dutch Masters will be determined to rediscover their very best but this draw also contains two WT 2025 winners.

Miami (USA) have gone off the boil since their fast start at the Utsunomiya Opener and will also be extra determined having crashed out early at WT Hong Kong. Their chances of a rebound might rest with walking bucket James Parrott going bang, bang.

We haven't seen Raudondvaris Hoptrans (LTU) since the break, but we know these lethal Lithuanians can get hot just like they did during their title-winning run in Chengdu. Aurelijus Pukelis is Mr Consistency, while Modestas Kumpys is a slamming jamming machine.

Who are the players to watch?

No.1 Strahinja Stojacic is back after a breather in Hong Kong and he is ready to unleash after a purple patch before the mid-season break ensured he kept his hands on his crown.

'Doctor Strange' will have to be at his very best in Edmonton with Worthy de Jong ready to get back to his highest level after a subdued first-half of the season.

But expect 'Hype Worthy' to once again turn heads and he's not the only excitement machine in Edmonton with legendary Karlis Lasmanis set to arrive on Flight KLM and he should receive plenty of lobs as he reunites with partner-in-crime Nauris Miezis.

The strongest dude in Edmonton will surely be muscular Stefan Milivojevic, who will be flexing on opponents as he shows off his perfect abs.

Edmonton, the beautiful capital of Alberta, is not known as a warm place but it will heat up to record temperatures if snipers Antonio Ralat and Anand Ariunbold go on heaters.
