All set for the final eight African teams to start their race for next year's World Cup!

    ALEXANDRIA/DAKAR (Egypt/Senegal) - The final rosters for Window 2 of the 2027 FIBA World Cup African Qualifiers were finalised on Wednesday evening in the host cities of Alexandria and Dakar following the FIBA technical meetings held in both cities.

    From Thursday, 26 February to Sunday, 1 March, the eight teams split into Groups B and D will begin their 2027 FIBA Basketball World Cup African Qualifiers, competing for one of the five spots available to African nations at the 2027 Qatar World Cup.

    Teams in Groups A and C began their qualifying campaigns in Window 1 in November 2025.

    The final rosters are as follows:
