    CHENGDU (FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup) - Samo Gabersek (Slovenia) led all scorers at the FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup 2017 in Chengdu, China on June 28 - July 2.

    Gabersek scored 44 points in Chengdu, including two clutch two-pointers to win the game in overtime in the quarter-finals against Ukraine and to strike bronze in the third-place game against New Zealand.

    FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup MVP Ayoub Nouhi (Belgium) finished second in the scoring charts with 38 points, tied with silver medalist Boyd van der Vuurst De Vries (Netherlands). 

    In the women's category, it was Team of The Tournament member Janelle Bailey (USA) who finished as top scorer of the competition with 40 points overall.

    Team of the Tournament team-mate Simona Ruzkova (Czech Republic) was second with 38 points while Germany's scoring machine Emma Eichmeyer finished third with 35 points in just 5 games.
