Twenty-four teams from 14 countries to star at FIBA 3x3 Africa Cup 2018

    LOME (FIBA 3x3 Africa Cup 2018) - Twenty-four teams from 14 different countries have qualified for the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup 2018, which will take place in Lomé, Togo on November 9-11.

    LOME (FIBA 3x3 Africa Cup 2018) - Twenty-four teams from 14 different countries have qualified for the FIBA 3x3 Africa Cup 2018, which will take place in Lomé, Togo on November 9-11.

    Twelve men's and 12 women's teams stamped their ticket to Togo after 2 qualifiers held in Madagascar and Benin.

    Last year’s winners Nigeria’s men and Mali’s women are back to defend the crown they won at the inaugural edition, which was already staged in Lomé on November 3-5, 2017.

    Three countries will make their debut at the Africa Cup: Burkina Faso, Cape Verde and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Coincidentally all 3 of them saw both their men’s and women’s teams make it to Togo.

    All participating teams:

    Women: Bénin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Egypt, Ghana, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Togo, Uganda

    Men: Bénin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Egypt, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, Nigeria, Togo, Uganda
