PIRAEUS (Greece) - The final placement of the eight teams eliminated from the FIBA Women’s EuroBasket 2025 has been confirmed following the conclusion of the Group Phase.
Teams were classified as per the Official Basketball Rules, with group position as the primary criterion, followed by overall record and point differential.
The Final Phase of the tournament will be played at the iconic Peace and Friendship Stadium in Piraeus, Greece from June 24-29. The final classification will determine which five European teams will join Czechia, hosts Germany, and Hungary in the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 Qualifying Tournaments.
The FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2025 champions will earn a direct World Cup berth but will still participate in the Qualifying Tournaments alongside the other qualified teams, as part of Europe's eight-team quota.
