Portugal overpower Slovakia to advance to Final
Portugal built a big lead early in the first quarter and never took their foot off the gas as they beat Slovakia 73-46 to secure a place in the Division B Final and unlock the door to Division A next year.
Leading from start to finish, Portugal took a commanding 16-5 lead after the first ten minutes, as they held the Slovakians to just 26 percent from the field in a dominant display.
Clara Silva led the victors with 17 points and 6 rebounds, Carolina Silva added 12. Slovakia were led by Michaela Oravcova's 16 points.
Greece roll past Montenegro to reach the Final
Greece marched to the FIBA U20 Women's EuroBasket, Division B Final after beating Montenegro 78-59 in the Semi-Finals, with the win also sealing their return to Division A next year.
Panagiota Stoligka led the way for Greece with 17 points on 5-for-9 shooting from three-point land along with 6 assists. Lydia Chatira added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners.
Atina Radevic led Montenegro with 12 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists, as they settle for the Third Place game.
