    Portugal land Division B title and instant promotion to next summer's Division A

    A year after getting relegated, Portugal taste glory in Division B.

    SAMOKOV (Bulgaria) - Portugal bounced back to Division A and finished their campaign in Bulgaria unbeaten, toppling Greece in the Final.

    In the Third-Place Game, Montenegro led from start to finish as they defeated Slovakia, earning them the third and final spot in next summer's Division A.

    Portugal dominated from the outset, defeating Greece 78-43 to win the FIBA U20 Women's EuroBasket Division B title.

    Building a double-digit lead from the first quarter onwards, Portugal stamped their authority on proceedings and never looked back, never allowing Greece any room to mount a comeback, with the Portuguese building a 58-33 lead after three quarters to ultimately claim the inevitable.

    Clara Silva led the newly-minted champions with 18 points and 15 rebounds in a superb display. Foteini Syrpa and Myrto Lianoudi had 11 points apiece for the Greeks.

    Strong first half lifts Montenegro to win over Slovakia and Division A next year

    Montenegro put the disappointment of the Semi-Final loss behind them by downing Slovakia 70-55 to finish third and help themselves to the final promotion spot to Division A next year.

    The Montenegrins dominated from start to finish, leading from the opening tip to the final buzzer, and built a lead of as many as 17 points late to secure a spot on the podium and head to Division A next summer.

    Atina Madevic led the winners with 23 points, going 3-for-5 from three-point land, 4 rebounds and 4 assists, ably supported by 12 points from Marija Sekulovic.

    Maria Stefancova had 14 points for Slovakia, but settled for fourth place.
