    Netherlands triumphed at the FIBA U20 EuroBasket

    Netherlands triumph in Bulgaria, while Czechia grab final promotion ticket after securing bronze.

    SOFIA (Bulgaria) - The Final of the FIBA U20 Women's EuroBasket 2024, Division B saw the Netherlands triumph over Belgium 80-65.

    Jasmijn Olsem impressed in the Final with a 29-point showing to go along with 10 rebounds and 4 assists, at an efficiency valuation of 35.

    Tournament MVP Nastja Claessens was unable to lead her nation to the title with 16 points and 6 rebounds on the night, but the previously unbeaten Belgium will still head to Division A after reaching the Final.

    The final promotion ticket was claimed by Czechia, with Valentyna Kadlecova's 16 points and 6 assists key in the bronze medal winning 75-66 victory over Iceland.

    Meanwhile, the three promoted sides will be replaced in Division B by Hungary, Serbia and Finland who finished bottom three in the Division A tournament in Lithuania.
