    Germany were unable to capitalize on their opening day win over Italy, as they stumbled to an 83-76 loss to Türkiye in Group A. However, Davi Remagen was a major standout with 24 points on 7-for-12 shooting, 4 assists and 5 steals.

    It was delight for Turkiye as they bagged their first win of the U20 EuroBasket over Germany. The man that led the way was Salih Altuntas, who secured a double-double of 19 points and 14 rebounds, as he shot 60 percent from the field.

    Latvia bounced back from their opening day loss to neighbors Lithuania by beating a stubborn Poland side 77-68. Arturs Ozols filled the statsheet as he had 7 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks.
