LJUBLJANA (Slovenia) - Rany Belaga joined an exclusive club at the FIBA U20 EuroBasket 2026 as he recorded the eighth triple-double in the history of the competition.
The guard collected 16 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists to help Israel defeat Latvia 96-74 in Classification 9-12 action.
Only six players had previously accomplished the rare feat, with the first one being Victor Khryapa, who did so twice in 2002.
The most recent triple-double had come last summer with Neoklis Avdalas posting 14 points, 10 rebounds and 14 assists in a Greece win over Israel - when coincidentally, Belaga was playing in opposition.
