Iceland stun Sweden with comeback
Iceland will be returning to Division A after they manufactured a great comeback for an 84-76 victory over Sweden. Despite trailing by as many as 12 points, Iceland responded with a 21-3 run spanning the final two quarters to pull ahead 71-60 with 3 minutes to go.
Lars Bragason paced Iceland with 21 points while Asmundur Armannsson had 17 points and Magnus Svannson and Viktor Ludviksson both scored 11 points and combined for 17 rebounds and 10 blocks.
Sweden could not use Cheick-Oumar Fadiga's 20 points. They next face Portugal in the Third Place Game with the winner earning promotion to Division A.
Ukraine roll past Portugal into Final
Ukraine booked their ticket back to Division A as they rolled past Portugal 81-61 in the Semi-Finals. They laid the foundation for their win with a dominant 19-6 second quarter and never looked back.
Makysm Hryshchuk top-scored for Ukraine with 23 points to go with 11 rebounds, 2 steals and 3 blocks while Yehor Sushkin added 19 points.
Jhonathan Andrade picked up 14 points to lead Portugal, who must now beat Sweden on Sunday to get back to Division A.
