BUENOS AIRES (Argentina) - Argentina will tip off their preparations for the FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup 2025 with 18 players which include Felipe Minzer, Tyler Kropp and Ivan Prato among the top stars.
Head coach Mauro Polla has invited 11 of the 12 players who finished second at the FIBA U18 AmeriCup 2024, which earned the South Americans their spot in the U19 World Cup, which runs from June 28 to July 6.
Kropp, Minzer and Prato were all on the U18 team with Kropp earning a spot in the All-Star Five as he averaged 22.0 points and 11.3 rebounds. That trio also played at the FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup 2024, where Argentina finished 10th.
