Born in Geneva, Capela made history when he was drafted by the Houston Rockets in 2014, becoming just the second Swiss player ever to make it to the NBA. Today, he's a key player for the Atlanta Hawks, but his journey started long before that - representing Switzerland in multiple FIBA competitions.

Over the years, Capela has proudly worn the national team jersey, putting up impressive numbers like:

    • 14.7 points and 11 rebounds per game during the FIBA EuroBasket 2021 Pre-Qualifiers

    • An average of 12.9 points and 8.7 rebounds across his senior national team appearances

Capela also stays connected to his roots by giving back through his Capela Camp in Geneva, helping young players develop their game and chase their basketball dreams.
