STOCKHOLM (Sweden) - There will be plenty of highly rated prospects looking to light it up for their respective nations when this year's edition of the FIBA U18 Women's EuroBasket gets underway in Sweden.

Emma Broliron - France
GUARD
Birth Date: December 4, 2008 (17 years old) Height: 5ft 7in / 1.70 cm
A top talent and prospect, Broliron is a guard who has impressed in all four FIBA youth tournament appearances to date, with an U16 All-Star Five honor already on her resume. Balancing her energy and IQ at both ends of the floor, she had a great 2025-26 season in the French second league and will soon suit up in the NCAA for Michigan State.
Tyra Johansson - Sweden
CENTER
Birth Date: December 15, 2011 (14 years old) Height: 6ft 6in / 1.97 cm
An incredible prospect who is still only 14 years-old, Johansson could still be the centrepiece for the host nation - such is her potential and ability. She also showed last year at U16 level she is not fazed by being younger and wrapped up a tournament double-double. Her height makes her a defensive matchup headache for everyone.
Anastasija Jovanov - Serbia
GUARD
Birth Date: March 28, 2009 (17 years old) Height: 5ft 8in / 1.72 cm
The playmaker was already one of Serbia's leading ballers at U16 last summer and has been writing headlines in her homeland ever since with big performances. Super smart and composed, she doesn't always rack up huge numbers, but it is her assured leadership and pulling of the strings which really makes Jovanov stand out.
Ayse Melek Demirer - Türkiye
FORWARD
Birth Date: February 16, 2009 (17 years old) Height: 6ft 5in / 1.95 cm
One of the most exciting Turkish prospects in recent memory, Demirer was unstoppable in U16 Division B last year. The work of the frontcourt star resulted in an extraordinary average performance efficiency valuation of 29.2. It's little wonder that Louisville have already turned to her and she'll pace her nation's U18 campaign this time around.
Annie Kibedi - Belgium
FORWARD
Birth Date: May 24, 2008 (18 years old) Height: 6ft 2in / 1.87 cm
The athleticism and strength of Kibedi is so tough for opponents to handle. Even more so after maturing and evolving with some excellent EuroCup Women displays for Kangoeroes Mechelen. Kibedi has put up some eye-popping numbers at FIBA youth events, will be a big influence again and it's no wonder Oklahoma State snapped her up.
Olivia Vukosa - Croatia
CENTER
Birth Date: September 7, 2008 (17 years old) Height: 6ft 4in / 1.94 cm
A colossus of a baller, Vukosa smashed it in her first FIBA youth events, famously racking up a 50 efficiency in an U17 World Cup game in 2024. It's been a meteoric rise since, playing for the senior team in the Women's EuroBasket 2027 Qualifiers and committing to the renowned UConn where she'll play for the legendary Geno Auriemma.
Lara Csaplar-Nagy - Hungary
FORWARD / CENTER
Birth Date: June 11, 2009 (17 years old) Height: 6ft 2in / 1.89 cm
After two exceptional campaigns at U16 level, she will look to continue this stellar work. She switched from Sopron to the States last year and on top of her trademark physical prowess and defensive presence in the paint, she has been making strides forward in other areas. It will be exciting to see the advancements in her game since 2025.
Somtochukwu-Blessed Okafor - Spain
GUARD
Birth Date: September 11, 2008 (17 years old) Height: 5ft 9in / 1.76 cm
A measure of her quality is the fact she'll soon join reigning NCAA champions UCLA. The guard has showcased her skills brilliantly at FIBA events, making the U19 Worlds All-Star Five in 2025 and winning U20 gold with Spain as the youngest player on the roster. 'Somto' gets downhill so well and is a tough defender. She's MVP material.
Anna Gardziella - Finland
FORWARD
Birth Date: March 17, 2008 (18 years old) Height: 6ft 0in / 1.83 cm
The All-Star slot that Gardziella scooped last year was richly deserved as she emerged as the centerpiece for what was Finland's historic run to the U18 silver medal. A do-it-all player, the forward can shoot from range and needs closely guarded at all times. She's already gained senior minutes for the FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2027 co-hosts.
Kathy-Emma Otto - France
FORWARD
Birth Date: April 1, 2008 (18 years old) Height: 6ft 2in / 1.87 cm
Even if Otto does not always rack up outstanding numbers, she is a very classy baller who will anchor the paint for France. Bursting onto the FIBA scene as U16 MVP, she was also Basketball without Borders Europe MVP in 2025. Her quick hands and reading of the game are superb and she will soon head off to play with Michigan State
Jada Lynch - Belgium
GUARD
Birth Date: February 27, 2008 (18 years old) Height: 5ft 10in / 1.79 cm
Gaining All-Star status at last year's edition of the event, Lynch has already shown her ability in a big way. This time she steps out having taken the decision in 2025 to move to the States to play with the highly talented Westtown school. A nice creator and with the ability to hit deal-making shots, she will be a leader again for the Young Cats.
Iva Tabak - Croatia
GUARD
Birth Date: April 14, 2009 (17 years old) Height: 5ft 10in / 1.78 cm
The guard might be under the radar a little, since Croatia finished a disappointing 12th and 13th at U16 level. But Tabak did everything she could to inspire her team and put in some excellent displays, amassing more than 16 points, 6 boards and 6 assists per game last year. She has also excelled in the Croatian league with ZKK Split.
