RIJEKA & OPATIJA (Croatia) - There is a new assist king in FIBA U18 EuroBasket Division B history as Romanian David-Ioan Rasoga set a new record by delivering 17 dimes.
Rasoga and Romania bounced back in strong fashion from their loss to Czechia in the Quarter-Finals by beating Georgia 81-74 in Classification 5-8 of the 2026 edition.
The guard came into the game averaging 4.6 assists with 23 assists in total. He then eclipsed the previous high mark of 15 set by Nikola Lalic of Montenegro against Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2007.
