    BRNO (Czechia) - The third day of action at the FIBA U17 Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 saw a number of ballers all light it up with superb individual efforts as the play button was pressed again at the showpiece tournament.

    Anais Gobec showed why she is such an outstanding prospect as the Slovenian playmaker went to work with a stunning performance efficiency valuation of 34 as her side breezed past Colombia 86-59. The guard shot 10 of 13 from the field and finished with 25 points, 7 assists and 4 steals.

    Jemyma Manyok put in her best ever display in an Australian national team vest as she harvested a brilliant performance efficiency valuation of 30 in a record-breaking 89-37 success against Cote d'Ivoire.

    Sapphires sparkle to set new all-time assists record

    Australia set a new all-time assists record in the competition, with their center starring after claiming 13 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks.

    Emilia Ainley had a bitter-sweet night as New Zealand were eased out 85-76 by Canada. But the center had a standout display at both ends of the court, registering 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks.

    Frederike Askamp chose a good time to have her best game of the competition as she inspired Germany's first win since landing in Brno. They ran out with a 61-42 triumph off the back of an eye-catching 12 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocks.

    Meanwhile there's no stopping USA's marquee baller Ivanna Wilson Manyacka who did her thing again as her team tore past Latvia 105-53. She weighed in with a classy 16 points from 6 of 7 shooting, as well as 4 rebounds and 2 steals.
