BRNO (Czechia) - Ivanna Wilson Manyacka has been recognized for her standout performances with USA at the FIBA U17 Women's Basketball World Cup by being named TISSOT Most Valuable Player.
On the 50th anniversary of the inaugural Women's Olympic Basketball Tournament, Wilson Manyacka was presented with the prestigious award by three-time Olympic champion and FIBA Hall of Fame member, Dawn Staley.
Across the tournament, she averaged a performance efficiency valuation of 17.0, accumulated from 12.9 points per game after shooting 52.9 percent from the field. She also registered 6.0 rebounds, 2.6 steals and 1.7 assists per outing, helping secure her second U17 Women's Basketball World Cup title after also lifting the trophy at the 2024 edition in Leon, Mexico.
Ivanna Wilson Manyacka was joined on the All-Star Five by Isabel Hernandez of Spain, Madison Ryan of third-placed Australia, Frances Vollett of Canada and Miya Takeuchi of Japan.
Isabel Hernandez showed why she was FIBA U16 Women's EuroBasket 2025 MVP after delivering another stellar tournament for her country. She propelled Spain to silver with 17.0 points, 4.7 assists and 3.9 steals per game - the most in the competition. She was also incredible in the title game, dropping 28 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists, while also equalling the all-time record for steals with 8.
Madison Ryan was Australia's rock during the tournament, with her exceptional leadership standing out as her team wrapped up a Third Place finish. She harvested 14.1 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game.
Frances Vollett did everything she could to help Canada claim a medal, but they were only just edged out in that quest. Their top performer averaged 12.3 points and 7.1 rebounds per game.
Finally, Miya Takeuchi put in some sensational performances across the competition, most notably packing the highlights reel in her 32-point display against Australia in the Quarter-Finals. The guard finished with an average of 18.1 points, 4.9 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game.
