Who will be the FIBA U17 Women's World Cup 2026 TISSOT MVP?

The Quarter-Finals will all take place on Friday July 17 as all eight nations fight it out for a ticket to Saturday's Semi-Finals.

Australia vs Japan - 12:00 CET

It's an intriguing clash since both teams somehow managed to avoid each other throughout their respective rides onto the FIBA U16 Women's Asia Cup 2025 podium.

The Sapphires have so much depth, quality and size to utilize, while Japan have two in-form players in Miya Takeuchi and Ran Kobayashi who will try to inspire victory.

Spain vs New Zealand - 14:45 CET

With their intense defensive capabilities, unbeaten Spain will likely waste little time in squeezing the New Zealand ball handlers looking for turnovers and fast-break buckets.

On the flip-side, New Zealand have played strong team basketball with multiple contributors and look dangerous when they stay composed and look for the extra pass.

China vs Canada - 17:30 CET

Apart from missing a beat against Spain in the group phase, China have impressed with their collective efforts and especially when being aggressive getting to the basket.

Hanyun Sun and Yuanshan Li are potential game-winners. Canada have some great options in the paint and will look to utilize their size to control this crunch matchup.

USA vs Slovenia - 20:15 CET

The favorites to retain their silverware, USA now need three more wins to be crowned champions once again and will be strong favorites to advance to the last four.

Slovenia will be out to try and cause one of the biggest shocks in U17 history, likely fuelled by the one-two punch of Veronika Ferjancic and Anais Gobec.
