BRNO (Czechia) - The pairings and schedule for the FIBA U17 Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 Final and Third Place Game have been set following the successful conclusion of the Semi-Finals in Brno, Czechia.
The Final and Third Place Games will both take place on Sunday July 19 at the Starez Arena Vodova.
Final: USA vs Spain - 20:15 CET
Both teams will meet in the Final for the fourth time, with USA having won all three previous encounters in 2012, 2014 and 2022. They are looking to raise the silverware for the seventh time and to secure their fourth title in a row. Still yet to lose, they will be looking to the in-form Ivanna Wilson Manyacka and Micah Ojo to propel them.
Spain are also yet to lose in Brno as they continue their dream of a first ever U17 title. They had to dig deep to see off Australia in the Semi-Finals and will lean on TISSOT MVP candidate Isabel Hernandez to lead them.
Third Place Game: Canada vs Australia - 17:15 CET
Canada and Australia face each other in the Third Place Game for the first time in competition history as they both search for the bronze medal for a second time.
Canada occupied the third podium step in 2012, with Australia taking bronze in 2018 when they were defending their 2016 crown.
